Category: Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact Assessment
Hits: 2272

Dates: July 2014 – June 2015
Client: World Food Programme (WFP) Project

In partnership with the Overseas Development Institute, we carried out an evaluation of WFP's regional response to the Syrian crisis as embodied by its two emergency operations - the Syria specific EMOP 200339 and the regional EMOP 200433 - managed by the Regional Emergency Coordination (REC) Office in Amman. Geared towards constructive learning and accountability, the evaluation assessed results and performance, to feed into the 2015 REC future programming and strategic decision making, identified areas of strength and weakness and recommended areas of focus for further evaluative work both by the REC management and organization. Programmes were evaluated in: Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt and Syria.
